Finally a complete bolt-together Electrathon racer kit from a single source!
Wiring, mirrors, safety harness, it’s all here!
Constructed from 16 gauge 3/4” square tubing in prefab sections, THE CRATE (named for it’s simplistic square shape) can be bolted together in just a few hours with basic hand tools. It features front mounted batteries for excellent weight distribution and predictable handling. The 1800 watt motor pushes it up to 30 mph on 36v and 40 mph on 48v with stock gearing on flat ground. *(Top speed dependent on proper vehicle setup, wind resistance, and total weight with driver)
THE CRATE has 14” wheels all around and 160mm disc brakes with two dual piston calipers operated by a single dual cable pull lever.
Dimensions are: 33” tall, 45” wide, 82” long, 57” wheelbase.
Fits drivers up to 6’3” and 20.5” shoulder width
36 or 48 volt compatible. Designed to use three group U1 lead acid batteries (such as Interstate DCM0035) for 36v or a 48v 20ah lithium pack of your choosing. Batteries NOT included.
Not for use with 24 volt battery packs.
Body panels not included. You have to make your own.
